Back from our extended hiatus, we cover Pikachu's Rescue Adventure as we get ready to cover Pokemon: The Movie 2000 live at BATS Theatre Jan 27th (livestreaming available on bats.co.nz). Dennis talks about the live podcast Project, Listen to This and he, Oliver and Logan break down whether Pikachu's Rescue Adventure is really a rescue - or a defiance of god?
Hey Dexters! Just load up the movie and press play when we do and you'll hear our exclusive thoughts and commentary about the movie as you watch! Let us know if there are any movies you'd like! We've also soft launched a patreon! A lot of the next few episodes will be ones we had in the can for awhile, but we'll have newer ones coming soon!
We're back from our unplanned hiatus, and we want to say sorry for not being more clear about the big break, but we're gearing up to make more episodes and another live show coming up in January! This is an episode we recorded a few months ago, but our editor Dennis (me) just got super busy with school and life stuff so we're getting ourselves back on track to deliver some primo pokemon content with this fun experiment. Let us know if there are other movies you'd like a commentary for!
We hope you enjoy this episode!
This blockbuster episode of Dexperience takes the show on the road in our FIRST EVER LiVE SHOW! Join Dennis, Oliver, Harri, Logan and a live audience from the J&M's Fastfood restaurant as part of the NZ Fringe Festival! We take a deep dive into Pokemon The First Movie and the mortal and philosophical peril that the dangerous Mewtwo creates. Logan and Oliver give their fresh takes to the movies. We talk about clones, dub changes and more! But before that, Harri stumps us on a game of 20 questions!

In this special episode of the Dexperience, Dennis, Oliver, Harri and Logan gear up for their LIVE podcast recording as part of the NZ Fringe Festival on the Saturday 20th of March (Two days from this post!). They look at the short Pikachu’s Vacation, which was shown in theatres before the first Pokemon movie, and talk the zany transitions, the reveals of (at the time) new pokemon, and the changes introduced in the dub version! But before that, they examine what pokemon they’d be by doing some Pokemon Mystery Dungeon quizzes!

And we're back! The Dexperience crew is currently in the midst of the NZ Fringe Festival and their other shows, but we'll be getting back to regular programming shortly! In this episode, we look at the episode Ditto's Mysterious Mansion. There's a Steven Universe cameo, a whole lot of imitation and more! But first, we play an improvisational game where we perform a split second scene, and then stretch it out with details and more! Who said imitation wasn't the sincerest form of flattery!?

Join us as we sing the praises of Norman the Toll Booth operator in the Pokemon episode "The Bridge Bike Gang"! We discuss the freudian symbolism of Cloysters, the vague past of Team Rocket, the strongest of historical figures and play a very tense game of 21 Poke-Questions. All in this one episode, what a bargain!

In this trigger-happy Dexperience, we discuss the Japan-only episode of Pokemon called "The Legend of Dratini". We look at the reasons why it was banned, our impressions of the original japanese dub and our thoughts of the episode itself!
We're super excited to be back in the Dexperience studio for the New Year! We discuss our Top 3 Most Influential Games, our holiday breaks, the failed parenting styles of Papa and Mama and whether Phil Collins is a drummer! Hearken up Dexters!
