The Power of Forgiveness

Elder Gary Fry delivered a powerful message on forgiveness, based on Matthew 18:21-35, during our latest Kingdom of God series. He emphasised the limitless forgiveness we're called to extend to others, just as we have been forgiven by God.

- We are to forgive others 490 times, symbolizing endless forgiveness.
- The parable of the unmerciful servant illustrates the stark contrast between the vast debt forgiven by the king and the small debt the servant refuses to forgive, teaching us about the depth of God’s grace towards us.
- Unforgiveness can lead to spiritual self-destruction, losing the ability to sense God’s presence in our lives.

- Actively pray for and do good to those you've forgiven.
