  • Is it a disc golf ace or not?

Orders are still coming for Cool Daddy Disc Golf and I have been working some long hours and loving it all. I still have time for pickleball, some disc golf, and watching a few summer action movies.

In this episode I give an update on my Clash Discs store and the slow move to helping stores with wholesale.
I also talk about a poll I posted to the Disc Golf Answer Man facebook group asking what people do with their disc after their first ace.

  • Bobby and Tyler Brickley share disc golf memories and kindness
I met Tyler very early in my disc golf career and I was always impressed with his sense of humor and creativity in his work with DGA.
I came across a video called Hilarious & Cringe-Worthy: Top 15 Disc Golf Commercials. In this video I saw a couple of ads produced by Tyler and it occurred to me that it had been a long time since I had spoken with Tyler.
In this episode Tyler and I have a casual conversation about our work in disc golf and his new project, The Kindness Mob.

  • Who really won between Prodigy and Gannon Buhr?

A few months ago Gannon made a post on his social media that he was leaving Prodigy before the end of this contract. Later Prodigy sued Gannon for breach of contract.

After a few months the lawsuit has been dropped and fans of disc golf are left debating whether it was Gannon or Prodigy that came out on top.

  • A Conversation with Anthony Taylor of Happy with Par DG

Anthony is an Ambassador for Team Clash Discs and started the brand Happy with Par not much long after discovering disc golf. I wanted to learn more about the building of his brand and what lessons he is learning from building a business in disc golf.

  • Why all the hate on Disc Golf Commentators?

Disc golf commentators are a hot topic of discussion in the disc golf community. Some people love certain commentators, while others can't stand them. In this video, I'll explore why people have such strong opinions about disc golf commentators, and I'll share some of my own thoughts on the matter.

Here are some of the reasons why people might not like disc golf commentators:
They can be too biased towards certain players or teams.
They can make mistakes, such as mispronouncing names or getting facts wrong.
They can be too loud or obnoxious.
They can be boring or repetitive.
However, there are also many reasons why people do like disc golf commentators:
They can provide insightful analysis of the game.
They can be funny and entertaining.
They can help to make the game more accessible to new viewers.
They can build excitement and suspense during big moments.
Ultimately, whether or not you like disc golf commentators is a matter of personal preference.
What do you think? Do you like disc golf commentators?

  • Stop complaining about disc golf live coverage

I have seen a few posts on social media and some videos talking about the live disc golf coverage for the 2023 Champions Cup. I get it, there is room for improvement, but I don't think ridiculing people is the right way to go.

Let me know your thoughts. Send an email to [email protected] or better yet, leave me a voice message. Go to anchor.fm/dgam and tap on the Send a Voice Message button.
