She has recently finished a book called "Aslan's Roar" which means the Lion's Roar - marvelling over the rise of Turkish media, appreciating their deep love for their religion and culture and how beautifully they have incorporated their mythology and values in drama serials. She  also makes an attempt to strike a balance between modernity and Islam and how they can co-exist in this world of extremism and other false 'isms'

Dr. Guneeta Singh Bhalla currently serves as Executive Director at The 1947 Partition Archive. Previously, she was an experimental condensed matter physicist and completed her tenure as a post-doctoral researcher at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the University of California at Berkeley, in December 2012. She studied quantum confinement at interfaces that include oxide heterostructures and domain walls in multiferroics. After a 2008 visit to the oral testimony archives at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial she was inspired and began interviewing Partition survivors in 2010. In 2011 The 1947 Partition Archive was born. She has personally interviewed over 100 Partition survivors and rallied volunteers to join in building the grassroots foundations of this people-powered organization. In 1947 her father's family migrated from Lahore to Amritsar on August 14.

We spoke about lived experiences, controlled and severed chronicles, pain management, heart break and PTSD , all in the light of the largest human migration in history - the divide of the Subcontinent in 1947.

Tarik Dervish is an Ayurvedic practitioner, herbalist and yoga teacher trainer. He has been practising and teaching the two subjects in tandem since 2001 and has specialised in raising awareness of ayurveda within the yoga community ever since. He is the current Modules Officer for the British Wheel of Yoga and works with the Helios Foundation, a health charity that supports people living with chronic health conditions. He trains Yoga teachers to teach yoga with an ayurvedic approach and runs workshops in Ayurveda all over the country. His goal is to  help people take control of their health through traditional methods of prevention and management. He runs a clinic in central london and Brighton. He is a contributor to Yoga Teaching Handbook and the recently published Yoga Student Handbook edited by Sian O'Neill.

Zaheer Alam Kidvai was born in 1940 and witnessed the partition in 1947. In this conversation, Zaheer Saab catalogues many instances from his growing up years, to enrolling in the Merchant Navy, from travels with his parents to his own captaincy across the oceans, from exposure to poetry to exposure to social media.

He candidly shares his opinion on the human existence, the best way or not the best way to sail through life, laughter being the essence of life for him whilst he has had his own share of pain and misery. He has been instrumental  in setting up the T2F platform in Karachi and also a pioneer of Multimedia studies in Pakistan.  His interests lie in music, poetry, books and living a life with compassion and understanding. Azmat Abbas Alibhai is a yoga teacher, clinical nutritionist, naturopath, researcher and writer for the Holistic Health Association of the Princeton Area (HHAPA). She has been instrumental in setting up Pakistan's foremost Stroke Support Group and also provides therapy and meditation practises to neurological patients in some of the leading hospitals in Karachi.
