Hi Sascha! Thank you for helping.

Hello Risa.

Could you introduce yourself, please?

Well, my name is Sascha Dibbern, Im German and Im living in Denmark, have japanese wife.

That´s why we know each other.

Yes, and I make a living as a freelance IT consultant.

Im very small one man business but selling myself to other IT consultancies and end up mostly banks and pension companies - fixing the things and getting them to run.

For example now Im working in a bigger danish bank in something that would be related to what was the origin of the financial crisis in many banks. its called counterparty credit risk, so its the basic systems where banks try to find out if they can trust each other or not.

So thats a lot of technical stuff going on, a lot of mathematics - Im not mathematician, but there are a lot of interesting people there, there are a lot of physicist,mathematics(mathematicians), economist…

Physicist as well?

Ya ya well all people have kind of academic background and so on, and they are trying to do something different than just research are not interesting so much

kind of classical research and end up banking or pension area.

Ya, and Im doing more the technical stuffs, getting the systems to run and optimizing them and ya, that is what I'm living of - selling my services as a specialist in some areas.
