R: Maybe we can just talk a little.. like.. I dont know....maybe I can ask you about your work. Just to start with.

M: Ok, thats fine.

R: What do you do?

M: Im a project manager, working in a pharmaceutical company, in a division called medical affairs. That is a division that creates the link between R and D and also marketing. So in my daily life what do I do - its difficult to explain int the simple language. I do a lot of strategies before a product is launched in the markets so we call it launch-preparation. And I also do a publication strategies and engage with KOL skill opinion leaders because there are so many experts in different fields. and before you launch a product in the markets and you need to engage with doctors and educate them with the products merits and clinical benefit and also the value, it brings to the patients. I hope that make sense.

R: Sounds pretty complicated, maybe for us whos not working in that field. but sounds interesting, still.

M: Thank you. You are welcome to ask me more questions. I can explain to you a little bit more, its always difficult to explain in the simple sentences and I guess if I had really explain very quickly that probably means i was not able to explain well enough because it is a complicated issue.

R: So maybe our listeners can write you some questions.

How are you? Good morning.

I've been sitting there for the last half-hour...

...trying to come up with a story...

...that would explain my being here dressed like this.

And I wanted to come up with a story that would demonstrate qualities...

...that I'm sure you all admire here。

And I couldn't think of anything.

So the truth is...

...I was arrested for failure to pay parking tickets.

Parking tickets?

And I ran all the way here from the police station.

What were you doing before you were arrested?

I was painting my apartment.

Is it dry now?

I hope so.

Jay says you're pretty determined.

He's been waiting outside the front of the building for over a month.

- He said you're smart. –

Well, I like to think so.

- And you want to learn this business? –

Yes, sir, I wanna learn.

Have you already started learning on your own?

Absolutely.

First in your class in High school? –

Yes, sir.

- How many in the class? –

Twelve.

It was a small town.

(sigh)

Can I say something?

I'm the type of person...

...if you ask me a question, and I don't know the answer...

...I 'm gonna tell you that I don't know.

But I bet you what.

I know how to find the answer, and I will find the answer.

Is that fair enough?
