今回はインドネシアからShuとSokiの友人が参加します。内科医として働きながら、医学教育プラットフォーム開発を行うドイツの会社であるAMBOSSでも働く彼との最初の出会いは、思いがけないまさかの展開だった様です。

An Indonesian doctor - one full of surprises and interesting stories - joins us tonight.

Shu and Soki came to know Dr. Farhan, a physician and ambassador for AMBOSS (a German medical education company), by pure chance. A born and bred Indonesian who has never lived abroad, Dr. Farhan speaks fluent English (and even a little Japanese, too!). His hints for language learning may well provide us with the secret to acquiring fluent linguistic skills without having ever lived overseas.

Moreover, throughout this episode, the DDD cast members were struck by Dr. Farhan’s continuous and active commitment to improve the state of Indonesia’s public health system; an effort that is at once unique, impressive, and filled with passion.
