◆概要

SYNTの英語学習理論の重要なポイントが一つ明るみに出ました。

時間、そして、文字と音。

誰もが「英語が話せるようになりたい」と思ったことがあるでしょう。あなたの目標が「英語ができるようになること」であるのならば「英語を話せるようになる」必要があります。もっと言えば、「聴覚的な情報を英語で自由に操る能力」が必要になります。

なぜでしょう。文字を理解するプロセスと、音を処理するプロセスには違いがあるのです。それが「時間」なのです。

「英語を話せるようになる」ためには、時間の壁を乗り越える必要があります。Shuは時間の乗り越え方も提示しています。

In this episode, a key tenet of SYNT’s English education philosophy comes to light.

“I want to be able to speak English" - at some point in life, you have probably all had this thought. If you are one of these people, understand that time is key when it comes to mastering the art of conversation - a major interest of Japanese learners of English.

Shu clarified in his presentation that it is necessary to recognize written and spoken linguistic information as two completely different modalities. Thus, we must train each ability separately. Why? The reason is time. Time defines the difference between how we process visual and auditory information.
