In which the Duo and Kornhill review what had happened before and after Typhoon Mangkhut hit Hong Kong. Mangkhut was one of the strongest storms to hit the city, likely succeeding 1962’s Typhoon Wanda as the strongest storm to hit. However, while the storm was strong, the way people deal with it before and after Mangkhut was perhaps more disastrous. This episode serves as a reminder for Hongkongers on how to (and not to) do if another Mangkhut-like typhoon is to strike again.
