Been a long minute since I got to chat with ol buddy CJ Turner. Was honored to have him for one of the first 5 podcast couple few years back and was super stoked when he agreed to chat a bit. Firearm season is upon us in Illinois and we discuss the significance of Deer Shotgun season growing up with "deer camp." The fun of being part of a group of guys who loved to hunt, but also loved getting together to hang out and enjoy just getting together. Cj has had crazy success last several years harvesting very respectable whitetail deer and its always fun to pop into his head a bit and see what it takes to succeed with these animals.
