Dialed In

Greetings from Mammoth Mountain! There’s still sooooo much snow and we’re up here playing a few gigs so we’ve decided to call this weekend SNOWCHELLA!

We thought it would be fun to do a live stream from the cabin while recording this month’s mix. You can check it out here: https://www.facebook.com/nopantspartydjs/videos/2202774436700765/

It was actually kind of a blast and we’re thinking about doing it every month. Let us know what you think in the comments!

Also, we have some exciting news! We just launched our Patreon so you can now become an OFFICIAL member of the Hangover Club! As a member you’ll get early access to our music, exclusive merch, and the ability to see some behind-the-scenes fun! For our first ten patrons who are located in the LA area or planning to be here on May 4th, we are offering STAGE ACCESS to our show at Avalon Hollywood opening for Kap Slap. We’ll be celebrating Jamie’s birthday so you won’t want to miss it! Sign up here: patreon.com/nopantspartydjs

For this month’s hair of the dog, we’re going to recommend Coors Light (despite our best judgement and the alleged use of corn syrup in their recipe lol), since that’s what our friends were drinking while playing games in the background of our live stream. Crack one open and get back out there today!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Hangover Club! It’s time to get up, put on something green and get back to the shenanigans!

For this month’s mix we decided to go in a little bit of a different direction. One of the most popular mixes we’ve ever made was Silent Disco Part 2 (https://soundcloud.com/nopantspartydjs/no-pants-silent-discoparty-pt-2). That was almost THREE YEARS(!!!) ago now, so we thought it would be fun to throw it back to some of those late night, darker sounds again. Somehow we ended up getting into the techno end of things instead :O but hope you all enjoy this mix as much as you did that one!

If you’re in the LA area next weekend make sure to join us for the official launch of the Hangover Club day party! That’s right folks, we’re bringing this mix series to life as a wild, confetti- and tech house-fueled extravaganza. We’ve got a stacked lineup and some surprises too! Come join the club by getting your RSVP or ticket here: bit.ly/HangoverClub324

But first, you’re probably going to need some energy to get through this ridiculous drinking holiday, so start yourself off with an Irish coffee and turn it up!

What’s up, party people? Happy February! Since Valentine’s Day was just a few days ago we decided we wanted to show some LOVE for our friends on this mix!

We are very excited to have @saveassound’s One More as the second track on the mix. It’s part of his EP coming out on Feb 22nd on Lee Foss’s label @repopulatemars, which is HUGE so congrats to him! You can pre-order it here: https://www.beatport.com/release/one-more/2507883

We’ve also included @sivzmusic’s new track All In, which has been crushing the charts on Beatport! You can pick it up on @sheppard-records here: https://www.beatport.com/release/all-in/2493846

Rounding out our mix is Somebody Scream from our dudes @discodikc, which is coming out on the @late-night-munchies Order Up Vol. 7 compilation, along with our track WTH which we’ve also included in this month! Super stoked to be included on the same release as these guys! It’ll be out on Beatport on Feb 22nd and all streaming services March 8th, so keep an eye out!

Speaking of Late Night Munchies…joining us this month is LNM fam @spirocatalanomusic with a super bangin’ guest mix! He also has releases on House of Hustle and is an all around awesome guy who we hope to collab with soon. His monthly mix series The TSC (https://soundcloud.com/spirocatalanomusic/sets/the-tsc-all-episodes) is always super solid and he runs his own night in Sacramento called Taco’s Techno Tuesdays so if you’re ever in the area make sure to check it out!

As far as this month’s drink…we made our artwork rosé colored in honor of Valentine’s Day, so pour yourself a glass and tune in!

Good morning Hangover Club and happy New Year! In the spirit of “new year, new us” we decided to try something different and give you a fun intro to the bangin’ party tech that follows. Does it sound like a hangover to you? And since we’re officially a podcast now we thought we could start each episode by chatting a bit, so you’ll know there are actually two (hungover) humans behind all this music! Let us know what you think of the new additions by leaving us a comment below, and go subscribe to our podcast here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/hangover-club-radio/id1447455791?mt=2

As per usual, this month’s mix is packed with a lot of our favorites, as well as some new artists we’ve discovered. No guest mixes this time, just a solid hour of what makes our booties shake!

Since our Seahawks are out of the playoffs (RIP) we’ve decided to dedicate this month’s drink to them and have one last “Touchdown”! So pour a shot of Absolut Mandrin, drop it in some Red Bull, chug it down, and get ready to party the day away with one of our old go-to drinks! Cheers!

Happy holidays, Hangover Club! Although we’ve been getting festive all weekend, we’re actually not too miserable this morning because Christmas came early for us…this month we have one of our very favorite producers we’ve discovered this year, @tenova!

Tenova has been crushing it in 2018, with releases on Toolroom, Cr2, and Country Club Disco, just to name a few! We’ve included Pump It Up (https://soundcloud.com/data-transmission/tenova-pump-it-up-country-club-disco) and Longlegs (https://soundcloud.com/stashedmusic/stashd016-tenova-longlegs) in past mixes and have played them in our sets over the past few months more times than we can count! He’s also been playing all over Europe and the US, alongside huge artists like Mark Knight and Golf Clap. We love keeping up with his adventures on his Instagram story and enjoy reading the pieces he writes for DJ Tech Tools so it is an absolute pleasure to have him as our guest for December!

For this month’s hair of the dog, Tenova recommends his favorite: vodka tonic. Now let’s get into the party spirit!

Happy October, partiers! Halloween is right around the corner and it’s one of our favorite times of year, so we made another scary mix for you for 2018! And of course had to bring in our friends, who are the only people who enjoy putting together seasonal mixes as much as we do, @HeartOfGoldSounds!

We met Gareth and Rob of Heart of Gold through their Connect party, which had a great run at Sayers Club as one of the best deep/tech nights in the city, and has now evolved into a day party. We love how passionate they are about music and about putting on a great party and we count them among some of our favorite people in the local scene. The duo’s passion and care clearly show when crafting their seasonal mixes (which you can check out here - https://soundcloud.com/heartofgoldsounds/sets/heart-of-gold-seasonal-mix), so we were excited to see what they would bring for Halloween! So excited that we decided to just let them do their thing and forgo our typical hour long format to bring you an extended, nearly two hour mix this month ;) If you’ll be celebrating the holiday in LA, Heart of Gold is playing Minimal Effort: All Hallow's Eve, alongside Boys Noize, Ardalan, Christian Martin and Kill Frenzy. We see big things on the horizon for them!

Now that you’re in the Halloween spirit, get back out there and kick off your Sunday with whatever sort of potion you’re in the mood for ;)

Oh hey there, party people! Happy Sunday aka Hangover Day! It looks like summer isn’t over quite yet. The weather is still heating up here in LA and we’ve packed 30 minutes of our current favorite party tech tracks into September’s mix! We were able to include amazing new tunes from some of our favorite artists - @genefarris, @tenova, and @pax just to name a few! - so this mix feels extra special. Making it even more special, we have a guest mix from @themrfitz this month!

It’s been a wild ride since we were introduced to Mr. Fitz almost a year ago! We quickly went from convincing him to book us for his deep/tech night last December to releasing our collaboration O’Business (https://soundcloud.com/6amgroup/premiere-mr-fitz-no-pants-party-o-business-original-mix-krafted-underground) on the Beatport-charting DTLA Vol. 2 Compilation, to becoming a part of the party/DJ collective/“movement” (as he would say!) that he created, Blvck Mvgic. We’ve now played together all over LA, at some Coachella parties, and even on the radio and let us tell you, life with Fitz is never predictable but definitely never boring! Through the ups and downs we’ve become good friends; he’s been one of our biggest supporters and his confidence is contagious. Besides being one of the biggest personalities in the LA house music scene, Mr. Fitz is also a prolific producer and he’s been banging out tons of new tracks over the summer like his remix of Queen & David Bowie - Under Pressure (https://soundcloud.com/themrfitz/under-pressure-mr-fitz-x-oh-bby-remix) and his original Drugs (https://soundcloud.com/themrfitz/drugs). He’s been wowing the crowd with them at Academy and Clinic Wednesdays, and of course Blvck Mvgic events. We have plans to collaborate on another project together and are excited to share it with you all soon!

Wondering what your “hair of the dog” should be this month? In honor of Fitz, may we suggest you drink some Patron, but don’t let it get the best of you on this fine Sunday ;)

Good morning, Hangover Club! Or, more realistically, bad morning? Either way, we’re sure you’ll enjoy some fun tech house tunes as your soundtrack for one of the last Sunday Fundays of summer! Joining us on the struggle bus today, we have @sivzmusic with an awesome guest mix!

Sivz hails from Vancouver, BC, so we first became acquainted (as most DJs do) through SoundCloud and Instagram a few years ago due to our similar, G-housey sound at the time. Since then, she’s taken her city by storm. On top of playing support for all the biggest names in house and tech, she founded passion project @beatginnings in 2017 - an initiative that helps local DJs & producers break into Vancouver’s saturated electronic music scene. Sivz also hosts events under her own brand, Sylections and has spent the summer dominating the BC festival circuit, playing Bass Coast, Snowbombing, and more. Her collaboration release, "We Movin'" on Sheppards Records charted on Beatport and she’s back in the studio now working on more projects, which we can’t wait to hear.

We got to party with Sivz at Dirtybird Campout a couple years ago and she’s our kind of girl - if you hang out with her, you will probably end up hungover. On her recommendation, get your day started today with a Burt Reynolds shot - spiced rum and butterscotch schnapps - something we’d never heard of but are definitely going to have to try now! Good luck out there, partiers!
