For this month’s mix we decided to go in a little bit of a different direction. That was almost THREE YEARS(!!!) ago now, so we thought it would be fun to throw it back to some of those late night, darker sounds again. What’s up, party people? Happy February! Since Valentine’s Day was just a few days ago we decided we wanted to show some LOVE for our friends on this mix!

Happy holidays, Hangover Club! Although we’ve been getting festive all weekend, we’re actually not too miserable this morning because Christmas came early for us…this month we have one of our very favorite producers we’ve discovered this year, @tenova!

Tenova has been crushing it in 2018, with releases on Toolroom, Cr2, and Country Club Disco, just to name a few! We’ve included Pump It Up (https://soundcloud.com/data-transmission/tenova-pump-it-up-country-club-disco) and Longlegs (https://soundcloud.com/stashedmusic/stashd016-tenova-longlegs) in past mixes and have played them in our sets over the past few months more times than we can count! He’s also been playing all over Europe and the US, alongside huge artists like Mark Knight and Golf Clap. We love keeping up with his adventures on his Instagram story and enjoy reading the pieces he writes for DJ Tech Tools so it is an absolute pleasure to have him as our guest for December!

Happy October, partiers! Halloween is right around the corner and it’s one of our favorite times of year, so we made another scary mix for you for 2018! And of course had to bring in our friends, who are the only people who enjoy putting together seasonal mixes as much as we do, @HeartOfGoldSounds!

We met Gareth and Rob of Heart of Gold through their Connect party, which had a great run at Sayers Club as one of the best deep/tech nights in the city, and has now evolved into a day party. We love how passionate they are about music and about putting on a great party and we count them among some of our favorite people in the local scene. Oh hey there, party people! Happy Sunday aka Hangover Day! It looks like summer isn’t over quite yet. The weather is still heating up here in LA and we’ve packed 30 minutes of our current favorite party tech tracks into September’s mix! We were able to include amazing new tunes from some of our favorite artists - @genefarris, @tenova, and @pax just to name a few! - so this mix feels extra special. Making it even more special, we have a guest mix from @themrfitz this month!

It’s been a wild ride since we were introduced to Mr. Fitz almost a year ago! We quickly went from convincing him to book us for his deep/tech night last December to releasing our collaboration O’Business (https://soundcloud.com/6amgroup/premiere-mr-fitz-no-pants-party-o-business-original-mix-krafted-underground) on the Beatport-charting DTLA Vol. 2 Compilation, to becoming a part of the party/DJ collective/“movement” (as he would say!) that he created, Blvck Mvgic. We’ve now played together all over LA, at some Coachella parties, and even on the radio and let us tell you, life with Fitz is never predictable but definitely never boring! Through the ups and downs we’ve become good friends; he’s been one of our biggest supporters and his confidence is contagious. Besides being one of the biggest personalities in the LA house music scene, Mr. Fitz is also a prolific producer and he’s been banging out tons of new tracks over the summer like his remix of Queen & David Bowie - Under Pressure (https://soundcloud.com/themrfitz/under-pressure-mr-fitz-x-oh-bby-remix) and his original Drugs (https://soundcloud.com/themrfitz/drugs). He’s been wowing the crowd with them at Academy and Clinic Wednesdays, and of course Blvck Mvgic events. We have plans to collaborate on another project together and are excited to share it with you all soon!

Good morning, Hangover Club! Or, more realistically, bad morning? Either way, we’re sure you’ll enjoy some fun tech house tunes as your soundtrack for one of the last Sunday Fundays of summer! Joining us on the struggle bus today, we have @sivzmusic with an awesome guest mix!

Sivz hails from Vancouver, BC, so we first became acquainted (as most DJs do) through SoundCloud and Instagram a few years ago due to our similar, G-housey sound at the time. Since then, she’s taken her city by storm. On top of playing support for all the biggest names in house and tech, she founded passion project @beatginnings in 2017 - an initiative that helps local DJs & producers break into Vancouver’s saturated electronic music scene. Sivz also hosts events under her own brand, Sylections and has spent the summer dominating the BC festival circuit, playing Bass Coast, Snowbombing, and more. Her collaboration release, "We Movin'" on Sheppards Records charted on Beatport and she’s back in the studio now working on more projects, which we can’t wait to hear.

We got to party with Sivz at Dirtybird Campout a couple years ago and she’s our kind of girl - if you hang out with her, you will probably end up hungover. On her recommendation, get your day started today with a Burt Reynolds shot - spiced rum and butterscotch schnapps - something we’d never heard of but are definitely going to have to try now!
