Diamond Cast

This week’s Diamond Cast is a big one — the Dark Anthems EP has officially arrived at HQ, and we’re unboxing it for the very first time!

We show off loads of new merch (including wristbands, hats and the now-famous tinfoil edition), talk about the logistics of touring as an independent band, and dive into the strange world of AI music, hologram shows, and what the future might really look like for live artists.

We also reveal details about the London headline show (Nov 7th), our tour setlist, and what’s happening on EP release day. Plus, power cuts, backstage chaos, and a bit of heartfelt reflection on what makes Diamond Black tick.

This week’s Diamond Cast is a big one — part chaos, part heart, and all Diamond Black.

We talk about our Manchester warm-up show (at a wedding, no less), reveal a brand-new Diamond Black hoodie available now, and get into some deeper territory for World Mental Health Day — how spending so much time together on and off the road actually makes our music stronger.

Ben and Vincent share their romantic pre-show dinner, Adam and Natalie somehow win free food, and then we get philosophical about the new AFI album, what “EMO” really means, and how the genre shaped us growing up.

Plus: tour and EP updates — it’s all kicking off October 22nd.

This week’s Diamond Cast dives into Dark Anthems — our upcoming EP dropping this October! We reveal a brand-new song, “A Secret,” the official release date, and details about our collaboration with The Birthday Massacre, who have remixed Fall Into The Silence exclusively for the EP.

We also talk about the Dark Anthems artwork, chat about Halloween in the UK, and share some of our favourite horror films — including a deep dive into The Thing and why it’s misunderstood. Plus, we answer fan questions about surviving a zombie apocalypse, pre-show rituals, and Adam’s unexpected Rocky Horror Picture Show cover version.

We’ve nearly hit 50 episodes of Diamond Cast – and this week we’re tackling the bumps, bruises, and bizarre accidents we’ve survived as musicians.

From Adam injuring himself on the very first day of a 3-week tour, to Vincent’s infamous escalator adventure, to Ben being defeated by a tiny wall and an invisible badger — we’re sharing the funniest, weirdest, and most painful stories we’ve collected along the way.

But it’s not all doom and gloom — we also talk about how even the worst experiences can lead to positive outcomes.

This week on Diamond Cast, we’re feeling nostalgic, playful, and just a little bit mythical. Ben’s back from his travels, and we’re diving into everything from fantasy supergroups and devilish guitar theory to band reunions that should happen—and those that probably never will. Plus:

Bruce Dickinson and Alice Cooper stories (!)
