In the hunt for Christmas films that catch my attention, I stumbled upon this gem from 2014 which turned out to be very enjoyable. It also shocks me to think this is one of Robin Williams' last films, which I didn't even hear of back then, so it's nice to discover it now. It has definitely been added to my holiday watch list.

As a film, it does it's job. Entertaining, greatly casted, and true to what you would expect from Netflix. But why did they release it in theaters for a week?

I'm bringing it all back to 1993 with this entry but it's mostly because there was a sequel I had only recently discovered. As a Van-Damme classic, the first one is a triumph of 90s action gold. But the only thing the sequel has going for it is Scott Adkins.

Though this wasn't 100% my childhood, it was definitely part of it. The first and second films are triumphs in film history and this next part of the story is done so well and with so much heart, I doubt anyone has anything negative to say about it. I know I don't.
