I'm back from the Ullapool Guitar Festival and pondering my life choices, how it feels like every moment and decision have been leading me right to where I am now. I ackowledge that I'll never be a full-time pro with playing music, but somehow I've managed to pull my two passions in life -- guitar and photography -- into a career. Can I pull it off? Time will tell, but I'm sure as hell going to give it my best shot?

I had a new pupil start today, an 11 year old girl. It was really exciting and went well. I'm super pleased that my teaching is taking off. Just got to keep growing in all areas of my freelance work in order to survive when the Post Office goes at the end of October.
