Friends, thank you for taking the time to join us once again for an episode of the Diary of An Arcade Employee podcast. On the show today we are taking a little time to check out another arcade game or home console title that are rightfully considered classics in video games. As always I attempt to share my own personal memories on the subject of the podcast, in addition to trying to shine the spotlight on those who helped to bring these classic games to the arcades and home consoles back in the day.
For this show I discuss Williams Electronic’s 1982 arcade classic “Joust”. In this episode I do not have any vintage commercials to share as I am fortunate enough to have something far more awesome, audio featuring Lonnie “Lon” McDonald from when he visited the Arkadia Retrocade to roll our Joust machine to Ten Million points, making it the 106th Joust cabinet that he has done this on!
