Friends, thank you for taking the time to join us once again for an episode of the Diary of An Arcade Employee podcast. On the show today we are taking a little time to check out another arcade game or home console title that are rightfully considered classics in video games. As always I attempt to share my own personal memories on the subject of the podcast, in addition to trying to shine the spotlight on those who helped to bring these classic games to the arcades and home consoles back in the day.
On this episode I will be discussing the fondly remembered Star Trek: Strategic Operations Simulator from SEGA, which was originally released to the wilds of the arcades back in ’82. As a special treat, the ending theme for this episode was provided by the esteemed Earl Green – courtesy of the Kasatochi chip tune cover band!
Remember that for even more pop culture related goodness – make sure to check out Earl’s own website, the Logbook.Com – absolutely one of the best and longest running sites for all your retro needs.
Without further ado, have a quarter on me as we discuss 1982’s Star Trek: Strategic Operations Simulator.
