Diary of Sia Nas

This week was about lockdown finally being over and having freedom to move and shop in store! I also learned how to make better music and beats, dealing with the manufacturer for my invention and being positive about outcomes. I watched Justice League and loved the power that Wonder Woman showed. I also watched Clouds on Disney+ about Zach Sobiech who died from cancer just as his song became a hit.  I got lots of makeup from a cool black owned beauty brand called Playing in Makeup by Yolonda. Find out what I got. I also found out about Mica which is in almost all makeup but is mined by children! Buyer beware!

Hi is my trap beat of the week which comes with an annoying tag hahahah and a light and dark sort of flavour. Check it out at end of podcast.

The Dark Secret Behind Your Favorite Makeup Products | Shady | Refinery29 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IeR-h9C2fgc

Thanks for listening. I love hearing from you so if you have any comments or questions please feel free to contact me on the social media platforms listed below.

Please note the sound for this week’s episode is a little different because I couldn’t get the correct audio channel to work. So had to use microphone from laptop. Also I umm and ahhh a lot and repeat myself a lot and try to edit it out and sometimes it’s smooth other times not so much so please excuse the bad editing.

A short week that ended on a low note. Talking about confidentiality agreements, rare Thor ooshie, making beats, learning from other beatmakers, getting makeup by Nikkie Tutorials and Ofra, watching Aquaman, working on my family tree and having my car broken into!

Beat of the week is Cookies a fun, funky, edm beat.

PLEASE NOTE: This week the audio cut out so I had to use the audio from the video. I cleaned it up as best I could. Sorry.

This week was all about family. Through Ancestry.com I met new family and have been chatting with everyone endlessly. I watched the new BlackPink documentary Light Up The Sky on Netflix and well as The Social Dilemma which will scare you cold off social media hahah. Well it will make you think. I also saw a beautiful movie released in 2017 called Call Me By Your Name. I got a ton of make-up some from Sephora others that I have waited months for and some I am still waiting for months for! I talk about gluten free chicken schnitzel and putting up a green house for a summer vegie garden and playing with worms!

Beat of the week is Straight Out an industrial, grungy beat.

I was really rusty this week and I only had a week off!  The last few weeks have been about beatmaking, songwriting, my invention and make-up.  I started songwriting on some beats producers sent me years ago and got some serious writers block. I discovered Tej Lalvani from Dragon's Den who gives great business advice and had quite a few issues with my invention, what a headache! I listened to Dolly Parton's America and watched A Few Good Men. I also connected with a family member through Ancestry.com and have received heaps of information about family I never knew I had. It's nice to be part of a whole. I got ignored again by my billionaire "mentor" hahaha.

Cosy is beat of the week. It's a lovely lofi beat. It sounds a but muffled but that is how the samples came so I kept it.

Thanks for listening. I love hearing from you so if you have any comments or questions please feel free to contact me on the social media platforms listed below. I apologise for the stumbling and the umming and ahhing this week I was sooo rusty so please excuse the bad editing!

This week was a mix of music, business and movie watching. I made a few beats, dealt with the 3D printers who I have to treat like a baby and got a rude comment from the designer as well. Had to talk to a lawyer about it. I watched My octopus Teacher which contained some gorgeous music and Fyre on Netflix and saw Lindy Chamberlain - The True Story documentary, hear what I thought.  I connected with a new relative via Ancestry.com which was nice. I got some of the last makeup (I swear) I am buying. This time it was from Morphe which was a colab with Coca Cola and I also got some magnetic eyelashes which work a treat. Life is a rollercoaster.

Light it Up is beat of the week. Its an eerie quiet, trap beat.

The most exciting thing that happened this week is that I am in talks with a manufacturer in Thailand to make my invention. It's early days yet but they are really nice and I hope we see it through. I made one sexy beat. I watched the doc This is Paris plus saw lots of YouTube and started from the beginning of Schitts Creek. I got lots of makeup from different brands including Yanga Beauty, MakeUp Addiction, JD Glow, BYS, Ofra, and some used makeup! I also got some incredible eyelashes from Tatti Lashes and an airfyer. Hear my review.

I am looking for a new mentor cause I got dumped by my billionaire mentor I think for being too mouthy. Must remember to keep it professional.

Beat of the week is Visitor a big band college sound kinda beat.

The photo I used for my podcast cover this week reminds me of the SBS presenter Marg Downey played on Full Frontal hahaha.

This week has been more about business than anything. I have been dealing with 3D printers, finding manufacturers overseas, annoying my designer and pissing off my billionaire mentor. Yep he's gone! Talking about goals and what I want for the future.

Music news: I am collabing with two different beatmakers

Make-up wise I received a big order from Juvia's Place and the new palette by Nikkie Tutorials and Beauty Bay. See what I thought.

On Disney+ I saw the wonderful movie The Jungle Book and on Netflix I watch the last season of Schitts Creek. You gotta get onto that if you don't know!

Beat of the week is a rocking gospel beat called Please, Please. It will have you up on you feet screaming Hallelujah!

This week was a hard week I was exhausted all week so I gave myself a break and let myself rest as much as I could. I made half a beat and worked on my invention. I got some sad news about my neighbour and am boycotting Mulan. Now that I am a girl boss I have been reading more books written by women and am loving what I find. We are string, tough and can do anything.

Beat of the week is Dripping which is my first colab with Xnavens. Enjoy.

Celebrating 10,000 downloads of my podcast! Thank you again to everyone who listens and follows along, love you all long time. I made some eclectic beats.  I also made some boss moves with my invention and learning to deal with people tactfully which is new for me hahaha. Got into some prickly situations but I think I dealt with them well. Listen to find out.

I'm also getting some counseling and I hope those of you in need do too, it helped tremendously.

I also tried to watch the Disney movie The One and Only Ivan which was rudely interrupted by, well find out and see how tactfully (NOT) I dealt with this situation.

I got way too much make-up and there is a bit more coming but hopefully not much more after that. Make-up I received this week came from Marena Beauty, Glamlite, L.A. Girls, Glow by Michelle Mura, bh cosmetics and Melt Cosmetics. I also got a little confused with some make-up claiming that the bh cosmetics came in the Melt box. They didn't I just put everything in there to keep them together. So the bh stuff came from bh and the Melt Cosmetics came from Melt. ooops.

Beat of the week is Trapped a beautiful trap beat with bells and a guiro. It's dark and brooding. Enjoy.

This week I celebrate 9000 downloads thanks so much to everyone who listens, love you long time. I also found out someone was keeping a secret from me and I was furious. I felt so betrayed. I worked on a beat challenge of a beat a day for the week. See if I saw it through! I started reading the autobiography by Demi Moore called Inside Out. Listen to how I can relate to some of her bad experiences. I was also rudely interrupted during my podcast recording. I was called a scammer but why? I saw two movies during the week one was Booksmart and the other Jurassic Park, Fallen World. Find out what I had to say. Some friends are getting a divorce after around 20 years of marriage. The pandemic has got a lot to answer for. I like different and unusual find out what I'm talking about. My blankey kept me warm during a long day of rain and I am looking for my safe place. What a week.

Beat of the week is Respekt Me.

Thanks for listening.
