Last time, the group snuck into the abbey to test the army in training. There is still lots of work to be done there. They were reunited with Ireena and some old friends. It was a rare joyous moment until Crethan noticed a strange silvery thread connected to Father Donavich.

Previously, Sprocket and Crethan had scouted ahead of their undead army and confronted Izek with his troops from Vallaki. Sending them fleeing, the group cleared the area and pressed onward towards the Abbey.

Previously, the group had returned with the skull of Argynvost and placed it in it's proper resting place, igniting the light of Argynvostholt. Though this slowed Strahds army, they were still advancing. We join the party as they witness Strahd's reinforcements arrive in the form of large creatures of bone and claw.

Previously, Crethan Sprocket and crew made it to Argynvostholt and returned to the skull to its final resting place. We join them as the armies of Strahd confront the armies of the dead.

Post Mortem is a look behind the DM screen and into the minds of the players in Dice and Dreary Curse of Strahd. In season two, which is affectionately called that darkest season, the group spends some time backtracking to places that have been to before. Krezk is one of those places. After securing it from the werewolves they began to transform it into a base of operations.
