We are back!! And very excited to share our third 10x10 challenge journey where we will deep-dive into some games with a new season of Dice Jesters, which will have an exploration/discovery theme.
We kick off this 10x10 challenge with one we have been excited to play - Lost Ruins of Arnak!
In this episode, we discuss our first impressions as the components are on the table in front of us, initial thoughts after one play/learning the game, and then a final discussion of our overall experience playing the game 10 times together. We hope that this captures the experience of playing the game at various points of the journey!Introduction/first impression on table: 00:00:28

We are currently working on wrapping up our first game of our Season 3 10x10 challenge, which we are quite excited about! In the meantime, we thought we would get out some lighthearted fun for you to enjoy.
In this episode, Julie shares a heartwarming tale of her newfound friendship with a goose - despite her bird aversion revealed in the Wingspan episode. Then, we bring our own Q&A dissecting Lupin's personality as a gamer.
While we do tie (most of) everything back into games, this is mostly a non-game-related episode. We hope you enjoy!
We will be back very soon with our new season of Dice Jesters, and we hope you will join us for that adventure!
-Dave & Julie

Join us for our monthly "Replays, Discoveries, and Future Fun" discussion of board games outside our 10x10 challenge we've been playing - What games have we returned to, what new-to-Julie/us games have we tried, and what are some games we are hoping to explore together in the future?
In this month's episode, we revisit Azul, a game from our S1 10x10 challenge that was an instant favorite of ours (and the first game we played together getting into this hobby). But do we still enjoy this game as much as we did initially?
We also talk about our recent discoveries of Hanamikoji and In the Year of the Dragon, and a couple of games we'd like to explore for future fun: Septima and SETI.

Hanamikoji: 00:10:58
In the Year of the Dragon: 00:18:28
Septima: 00:27:50
