Muslim cricketer Usman Khawaja is expected to be wearing shoes branded with the words "freedom is a right" and "all lives are equal", at tomorrow's first test against Pakistan in Perth.

Khawaja - the first Muslim to play for Australia -  told The Australian the gesture was not a protest but a human rights statement.
