Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin’s trial may well end this week without his conviction on charges of murdering George Floyd. If so, Marxist groups like Antifa and Black Lives Matter appear prepared to seize upon such an outcome to engage in violence there and in cities across the country.

On Saturday, Congresswoman Maxine Waters seemingly incited such groups who have lately resumed rioting in Minneapolis’ Brooklyn Center area, proclaiming: “We’ve got to stay on the street and we’ve got to get more active. We’ve got to get more confrontational. We’ve got to make sure that they know that we mean business.”

Representative Waters must be held accountable for her actions. And law enforcement agencies like the FBI must focus on actual domestic terrorists – namely, Marxist revolutionaries now poised to “get more confrontational” – and stop persecuting Americans simply for supporting Donald Trump.
