Over the past month the #10YearChallenge has taken the internet by storm with everyone from your friends, to celebrities, and even world leaders jumping on the bandwagon (except for Anthony of course), but do you ever think twice before posting? Tech writer Kate O'Neill raised some alarm bells recently suggesting the challenge was a way for companies to collect data for facial recognition algorithms. Popsugar's popular twinning app that went viral during the holidays was reportedly collecting everyone's photos. Sharing something fun on social media isn't something we'd normally think too much about…but maybe it should be.
