Im letzten Duell bricht die Jury Regeln, kämpft und bettelt. Zunächst treten Alexandra und ihre Heckenretter gegen Alessandro mit seinen Recycleheroes an. Beide haben nur eine Minute Zeit, die Jury aus Paul, Mimi und Katharina zu überzeugen, dass ihre Idee die bessere ist.
Alexandra pflanzt mit ihrem Team Hecken an – wertvolle Biotope, die durch die industrielle Landwirtschaft zerstört wurden, jedoch wichtig für den Klima- und auch den Artenschutz sind. Unternehmen können mit den Heckenrettern CO2 kompensieren und zusätzlich soll rund um die Wildhecken eine Wertschöpfungskette entstehen: Aus den heimischen Superfoods wie Holunder, Hagebutten und Schlehen fertigen die Heckenretter Punsch und Eis am Stiel.
Recycleheroes holen in Hamburg per Schwerlastenrad Altglas, Pfand und Altpapier ab. Sie sind mit ihrem Service gleich auf vierfacher Mission: Sie möchten Stadtbewohner*innen Zeit schenken; sie wollen die Recyclingquoten erhöhen; Wertstoffe klimafreundlich transportieren und viertens Menschen beschäftigen, die es auf dem ersten Arbeitsmarkt schwer haben.
In diesem Duell sind sich zwei der Jurymitglieder zunächst überraschend einig – eine der Juror*innen kämpft dagegen. Kann sie noch die anderen beiden überzeugen? Schließlich können nur drei Ideen ins große Finale kommen – oder doch nicht? Zum Schluss dieser Staffel lassen Mimi und Paul nämlich noch eine kleine Bombe platzen...
