Die Hard On A Podcast

For our big 25th episode we kept it at 25mins as we discuss DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE.

SUPER STACKED EPISODE! We talk a little about Johnnie To's BREAKING NEWS and alot about Trevor's film EATING CARS which he shot in just 8 days! Plus, Charles Bukowski, and possibly a WRITING PROMPT for next week!

We discuss the cult classic film, THE BIG HIT. And video stores. And 90s music. A few technical difficulties but we aren't quitters. This film will give you a whole new respect for Lou Diamond Phillips.

RIP George A. Romero. We talk about the underrated classic George Romero film, KNIGHTRIDERS and also the documentary, BIRTH OF THE LIVING DEAD... Also the state of indie films throughout the decades...

Walter Hill double feature, THE ASSIGNMENT & TRESPASS, plus a lot of 90s hip-hop chatter...

We're face to face for once while we discuss the surprisingly solid desert-noir film, THE HOLLOW POINT.

We dive into the Magic Mountain and then take the Pork Chop Express to Little China, as we talk about the influence of ZU WARRIORS on BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA... It's all in the reflexes.

In honor of its 20th Birthday we talk about CON AIR, and also a ton of other things such as Dave Chappelle, Danny Trejo, Snatch and The Jesus And Mary Chain.

Disclaimer: This episode was pretty tough because my new laptop had trouble encoding it so it cuts off abruptly the last 2 minutes. But still worth a listen as we discuss Fellini's masterpiece 8 1/2 and the not so masterpiece Lou Ferrigno movie INSTANT DEATH... Also, we have a discussion of our own writing--

We talk about Jean Claude Van Damme's 1995 SUDDEN DEATH in honor of the recent passing of the great Powers Boothe. Go penguins! We also talk about Sports movies in general and KUNG FURY.
