There is a side to God that makes us uncomfortable. A side we seldom talk about. We often want to serve Jesus on our own terms...Journey with me to break the hard places in our hearts. I am guilty to this as well. Accused number one.

Suffering...Serving...Affliction and Humility has become foreign words in the vocabulary of Christians. We can not reign with Jesus if we do not want to suffer with Him.

The implanted seed of divine compassion begins to flower in your heart. Non sentimental and caring deeds are birthed. Courage is given to speak the truth to those principalities and powers intended on destroying the lives of people.

Swimming in deep waters begs the question. Do i have enough fight in me to ensure i survive? Can i survive the waves of emotional distress or the tides of past trauma?

Failure is embarrassing. Failure brings torment, depression,low self esteem and occasionally suicide. We often lament the past and the good old days...
