Adam Copeland is joined by San Jose Mercury writer Dieter Kurtenbach to talk about the high expectations on the 49ers this season. The big story is when/if Trey Lance is going to pass Jimmy G as the starting QB. The coaching staff has faith that either guy can do the job and lead the team. Coach Shanahan is gonna be patient with Trey Lance and doesn't want to rush him into playing. The o-line looks much better then it did last season and the D-line looks back to it's dominant self and fully healthy. Dieter thinks the WR and DB depth is a big concern for him. And they talk about the NFL adding another game to the schedule starting this season.
