On today's episode we get to chat with Holly Ellison who works as a Registered Dietitian at Minnesota State University Mankato. We get to learn about what Holly does as a Dietitian on a college campus and how she gets a lot of variety in her day-to-day work. Some days she is at the student health center providing individual nutrition counseling, another day she might be running a program at the dining hall, or working on the menu reviewing food allergens for the food service production side. While it can be a lot of work and challenging at times, Holly has found working with students super rewarding and shares her perspective in this area of dietetics.

On today's episode we get to chat with Jenny Westerkamp the founder of All Access Dietetics and Nutrition Consultant for the Chicago Bulls. Jenny shares her story on how All Access Dietetics got started and her journey through sports dietetics. She also shares some tips on how to network and how you can go about approaching Dietitians if you're looking to try to gain experience in a field of dietetics that you're interested in pursuing.

On today's episode we get to chat with Andrew Akhaphong who is the Registered Dietitian Manager at a retail grocery store called Mackenthun's Fine Foods. We get to hear about Andrew's story on how he gained inspiration to pursue a career in dietetics from his family who struggled as refugees during the Vietnam War and how he got his start in retail dietetics. He also shares his experience working as a dietitian in a grocery store setting and provided some tips for anyone who is interested in pursuing a career in this area of dietetics.
