Behavior is a set of repeated habits that characterise a person. Behaviour in children is often a way of communicating their needs. 

How children behave and show up in the world is dependent on what skills they have and how empowered they have become.

Some times children show maladaptive behavior because of an underlying condition or illness.

Even with the slightest flu, children exhibit behavioral changes such as clinginess, irritability, demotivation and tantrums. Understanding this and making allowances will go a long way in normalizing these behaviors and reduce the stress on parents/guardians.

One of the reasons children ‘ act out’ or misbehave is loneliness or lack of attention. Buddying up helps to avoid the maladaptive behavior by ensuring children have the stimulus of social and emotional feedback from somebody they value.
