There’s a lot of responsibility and expectations placed on the oldest child, and a different set of those things when you are also the oldest daughter. I can across some reels and tik toks about the eldest daughter syndrome and could relate to some of the things being said. Mainly in the differences the eldest daughter gets treated from their siblings. This topic stirs a lot of deep seated emotions within me that have accumulated for a while.
