As a believer of Christ, you can not be ok with everything that has been going on. The Bible says to mourn with those who morn, and to rejoice with those who rejoice. It also says to love our neighbors as ourselves. Even if you don't know what to do, it would be wise to go before God to pray and figure out what it is that you can do to become a part of the change that is needed. We can't stand around and say this has nothing to do with us. We ought to be each other's keeper. If as a believer what's going on doesn't move you, I have to question your salvation. I have to question where you stand.
