The title of this weeks offering is "A curates egg of a collection, lots of stylistic shifts".  It might refer to the new Robert Forster album   but could  equally be applied to the cross-section of music on this  show. Important I think not to get stuck in a rut when listening to music and to explore new avenues whilst also looking back at some of the best of the past. These shows are morphing into a half and half split to a selection of the best current releases, some new and fascinating sounds and a hark back to things that might have been missed when they first emerged.
