In this episode of 'Different Thinking for Different Times', host Steve Lentini engages with Thom Norman, co-founder of FarmKind, to discuss the pressing issues surrounding factory farming and animal welfare. They explore the mission of FarmKind, which aims to promote a factory-free farming future by supporting impactful charities and encouraging donations. The conversation delves into the importance of consumer choices, legislative changes, and the role of technology in creating a more sustainable food system. Thom emphasizes that individuals can make a difference without necessarily changing their diets and highlights the need for compassion and advocacy in addressing the challenges of modern agriculture.
Two things you might investigate for yourself;

In this episode, I challenge the "small-minded" thinker in my head, who judges others and makes others wrong instead of celebrating our differences and embracing the miracle we live in—a Universe.
God, the Creator, the Goddess, Abraham, Christ, Mohammed PBUH, the Buddha, and Brahma don't think like us. We, humans, reduce the Infinite to our level when we think small-mindedly and believe that little voice in our heads. Our job is to expand our thinking to match the Limitless Creator of this amazing Universe.
Maybe I'm wrong? What do you think?
Gratefully yours,
Steve
Are you willing to overcome the BS stories you tell yourself that hold you back in life? Are you willing to acknowledge that you created the mess in your life, which means you also have the power to create what you want more of? Are you willing to let go of all small-minded thinking or at least work on it? This episode is based on my new book, "NO BS Coaching - Wake Up to the BS You Tell Yourself."
Discover your power to create the life you dream of when you let go of the life you complain about.
Are you willing?
Gratefully yours,
Steve
My guest, Peter Alberding, is doing good things in life. He is on the Board of Silver Lining Mentoring and a co-founder of Generational Wealth Partners of Raymond James. He is an enthusiastic blues guitar player who performs regularly with his band.
Silver Lining Mentoring is the only mentoring organization in Massachusetts that exclusively serves youth in foster care through committed mentoring relationships and the development of essential life skills.
He also reveals a challenge he is going through and a few thoughts about what has helped him adjust to his new reality. You can do good in life, which is why we are here. Listen in for Peter's view on that and more.
Gratefully yours,
Steve
