[What Is A Circadian Rhythm]
24-hour cycles that are part of the body’s internal clock
Circadian rhythms are tied to the cycle of day and night
When properly aligned a circadian rhythm confirm out consistent and restorative sleep
But when the circadian rhythm is thrown off at can create significant sleeping problems including insomnia
Insomnia basically is difficulty going to sleep[How does circadian rhythm work?]
A circadian rhythm works by helping the body process its optimized points such as how deep in sleep you are or when you should limit coffee and when you’re the most alert throughout the day
Circadian rhythms exist in all types of organisms organisms are things such as plants animals things that are alive.
So there’s this thing called the circadian pacemaker a.k.a. A master o’clock and is connected to the hypothalamus
So it’s important to follow your body circadian rhythm’s why because when you align your sleep so it’s important to follow your body circadian rhythm’s[What does circadian rhythm affect besides sleep]
It plays a role in all systems of the body
Such as your weight your metabolism which is the chemical processes that occur within a living organism to maintain life
As well as mental health such as depression
And here’s an interesting one Neurodegenerative diseases, which is the degeneration of the nervous system especially the neurons in the brain and neurons are what allows the transmitting of impulses in your body such as you moving your fingers connected to your brain[What happens when the circadian rhythm is off?]
Simply the body won’t function properly
This could be a reason why you don’t sleep at night so I highly suggest you do some research on circadian rhythm’s so that you can better help your sleep cycle
So think of it like this you’re just messing up your sleep cycle which in turn messes up even the quality of sleep that you can get [What can disrupt circadian rhythm]
Jet lag disorder
Shift work disorder
Advanced sleep phase disorder
