19 min - Where Does Juan Soto Land!? | Golden At-Bat Rule & MLB Free Agency News
Eric Hosmer and Mike Moustakas check in on the latest MLB free agent news & Juan Soto sweepstakes. The Hot Stove is about to be turned all the way up! Soto's decision can come as soon as early as next week's Winter Meetings, and the rumor mill is running rampant. Do the Red Sox already have him signed? Will Steve Cohen and the Mets go $50M over the Yankees offer? So many questions that we will soon have the answer to.
The guys also cover the proposed 'Golden At-Bat' rule, which will allow a team one opportunity per game to put their best hitter up in any situation regardless of where they're at in the lineup. Hoz, Moose, and Chuck address the obvious problems with the rule and why they think it's ridiculous.
We finish up with more MLB Free Agency updates. Scott Boras officially has his fast ball back with Blake Snell's massive 5 year, $182M deal with the Dodgers. We check in on other signings, and where the chips might fall for guys like Bregman, Fried and Burnes once Soto is signed.

21 min - Addressing The Issues with Hall of Fame Voting & Criteria
Does the MLB have an issue with Hall of Fame voting and the criteria of what makes a player "Hall of Fame" worthy?
Hoz, Moose and Chuck jump on to break down the list of 1st timers and returnees to the Hall of Fame ballott. It blows our minds that Billy Wagner, who has over 400+ career saves is still not in... We break down some other names on this STACKED returnee list like Jimmy Rollins, Chase Utley, and Carlos Beltran. Will some of these legends of the game get snubbed from the Hall of Fame?
On the first timer list it starts with Ichiro Suzuki, the 10-time All-Star & Gold Glover. It's a given he is making it on the 1st ballot, the bigger question is will he be unanimous? Felix Hernandez, CC Sabathia and Dustin Pedroia are some other siginificant names making their debut on the ballot as well. We think all of these guys get in eventually, and we do a deep dive on Dustin Pedroia's candidacy and why his leadership on and off the field should also be considered.
The guys finish up with the MLB Awards breaking down the winners of the Cy Young, MVP, and Manager of the Year.

28 min - MLB Free Agency PREDICTIONS! Shohei's Surgery, SP Landing Spots & Soto's Contract
The guys tap in to recap the latest MLB News and predict what will happen this offseason!
Gerrit Cole opted out, then opted in. Hoz breaks down why this happened and how the Yankees made out with a great deal. Michael Wacha is returning to Kansas City after a productive 2024 campaign... this addition to the Royals staff will keep them competitive next year as well.
The fellas embrace debate a very good question presented by Hoz: Would you rather have Soto for $700M or Snell, Burnes & Fried? Pete Moylan sides with the stable of arms, and Yankee fan Chuck chooses the soon to be $600+ million dollar man.
The guys discuss how the Phillies will look to revamp their roster to have a better finish next season, where Nolan Arenado ends up, and they make their predictions for some of the top free agents in this loaded class heading into 2025.

Hoz, Moose & Pete are checking in for Diggin' Weekly!
Lots to cover as the championship series' are underway. The Yankees have a 2-0 lead on the Cleveland Guardians and the New York Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers series is knotted up at 1-1.
Last night, the Yankees took a command series lead on the back of their captain Aaron Judge, who looks like he might be finally breaking out of his postseason slump. The guys examine Steven Vogt's bullpen management last night, and how it could affect the team as the series heads back to Cleveland.
Francisco Lindor didn't get a gold glove nod, and all-star nod, and won't be in serious contention for the NL MVP either. However, he has his New York Mets team primed to make a World Series thanks to his phenomenal play and leadership. The guys breakdown what this series could look like as it heads back to Queens tied up at a game a piece.
