The competitive Digimon Card Game scene has been bustling! With multiple regionals every month, Ultimate Cups, locals and other community-hosted tourneys, there's a lot for Dan and Varni to cover!

We're back! Well, we never really stopped, which you can tell by listening as we go over the DigiFest results from BT-7 format. Remember when Blue Hybrid reigned supreme? Wait, isn't it still...kinda? Meh, who cares! DigiPod is back baby!

One of the long awaited episodes has arrived! Please excuse the audio quality of this one - Dan's mic settings were way off, which delayed the release of this episode as I tried to salvage it. Regardless, Varni and Dan interviewed LichiKing of Team Limit Break, who piloted BlackWarGreymon all the way to 11th place in the Digimon Card Game Championship 2021 Finals! Lichi provides some insight as to his deck-building and training, as well as his origins and some general Digimon commentary.

The one year anniversary for the English release of the Digimon Card Game has passed, so it's fitting that Dan and Varni decided to do a State of the Game. Tune in for the hot takes as the boys review the meta, problematic and toxic decks, and the various community members that have voiced their opinions about the Digimon Card Game. Mind you, the hot takes are real, and the spice is always on a different level - no ill feelings are meant towards any person or player; it's all about passion and love for the game.

And that's a wrap! It is the official "end" of tournament season, with Oceania and North American Nationals having wrapped up this past weekend. Varni and Dan got the hot takes AND the data to back it up. One thing is for sure: North American players are a DIFFERENT BREED!
