SSMK hosts Sabin and Karuna kick off the program with the meaning conversation regarding 'Body-Shaming and Harassment'. The opening session also includes the audio confession shared by Deepika Jamarkattel, who faced the harassment because of the weight and body structure. In her confession, she has not only shared how she confronted the harassment, but also suggests stopping bullying and highlights the importance of inner beauty of human being.
In this week's drama, again the story of Dandakharkha village is included. The drama highlights the importance and efficiency of distance/online learnings during the time of the pandemic. While going towards the ward office, Ghane, Bhirkhe and Batuli see the children playing and spending time without doing anything creative. They also know that because of the ongoing lockdown, their schools and colleges are closed. So, they think of starting the distance/online learnings for the children and decide to talk about this with the chairperson of their ward.
As there is no proper access to the internet and online, they think to start the classes through the local radio station. To know whether their decision will execute or not, whether their local level, allocates the budget to conduct such classes or not, kindly tune in to the radio program SSMK. The drama has been discussing life-skills: self-awareness, decision-making and creative thinking.
To address the significance and productivity of distance and online learnings during the time of the pandemic, the interview with the local level's representatives are combined in this episode. The voices of Ashok Shahi, Mayor, Tansen Municipality, Palpa and Baburam Bhattrai, Chief, Education and Youth Sports Department, Banganga Municipality, Kapilvastu are included.
Highlighting the efficiency of distance learning and online classes conducted by the local levels, the episode embraces the radio report sent in by Kamalsarala Sunuwar, Sindhuli. The report includes the voices of students, teachers and parents.
