Just for fun โฆ in our CalvaryFTL/Ethos Leadership class we were asked to record a short video on the Parable of the Good Samaritan. My random audience is children/youth.
Jesus tells the story of the Good Samaritan ... when he was asked a question by a lawyer who was trying to trick himโฆ "Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" Jesus responded to the Lawyer ... "What is written in the law? What is your reading or interpretation of it? Jesus answers the lawyers trick question with a question.
And we have one of the greatest quotes in history... the lawyer quotes Duet 6:5 in Matt 10:27 "You shall love the Lord your God with ALL your HEART, with ALL your SOUL, with ALL your STRENGTH, and with ALL your MIND ... and your NEIGHBOR as YOURSELF."
Without God this is IMPOSSIBLE... but with GOD all things are POSSIBLE. We need to PRAY and ask God to give us the ability to LOVE Him as described in this verse and the ability to love others. We are to LOVE God with ALL our HEART, SOUL, MIND & STRENGTH ... and LOVE others as MUCH as WE LOVE OURSELVES. May they know we are HIS disciples by our LOVE!

God loves you and wants to have a relationship with you. Will you put your trust in Him? Seek Him. Trust Him. He has an amazing plan for your life.

15 min - Do you feel far from God?Do you feel far from God? Do you feel like God left the building? Do you feel like God no longer loves you? Do you feel like God no longer has a plan? Well Iโm here to tell you that God does have a plan and all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose. If you love God we will obey his commands. And so often in this life we get too busy and we get caught up in our own sins and trespasses. And we donโt keep that relationship with God as a priority. I pray today that you will look at putting God first in your life again. And GO back to all those things You did when you first became a Christian. And just fall in love with Jesus again. The "Power of the Tongue," this small muscle we can use to praise our God, sing worship songs, encourage each other, build up the Body of Christ and share the Gospel. We can lead others to the Lord. Taste and see that the Lord is good. Right? We can pray out loud to our God. Ask God for His help, His direction, His wisdom, help us to grow in our walk and character. We can pray for others. We can pray with others. But, we can also use it for evil and tear down those we are called to love. God wants to use our tongues for HIS Glory and HIS Story, to SPEAK life into others. Use your tongue for the Glory of God Today!ย
