If you're a Christian young adult, you have probably been influenced by purity culture. Join my good friend James Neal and I in a conversation where we address common misconceptions about our sexuality as Christians because of some unhealthy aspects of the purity culture movement. 

Things like . . .   You can only be pure if you're a virgin.  Women are responsible in controlling a man's lust.  Sex is automatically great if you save yourself for marriage.  If you remain pure, God will bless you with a "fairy tale love story." God will only love you if you are pure.   

We discuss these ideas in depth and bring Scripture, our experiences, our perspective, while sharing some fun stories along the way.

As Christians, we understand that God created sex but so often we forget that sex was designed with specific purposes in mind. The culture around us would love us to believe that sex is cheap, but to God, our sexuality is valuable. Our Creator designed sex to fulfill three specific purposes in our lives and it is important to understand these purposes if we are to live with a healthy view of sexuality as young adults.

This episode will take a purely scientific and focused approach on three specific negative and damaging aspects of pornography. This content will not come from a basis of my Christian faith, but from scientific and conscious thought of how this industry is hurting people all around the world. Pornography is a disturbing and seductive force that is destroying lives and corrupting our culture. We must be made aware and educated on the damaging and harmful impact of pornography on our culture and people around the world. But those that run far, run together. If you are serious about living with sexual integrity, then you need to get serious about accountability.
