In this week’s episode, I will be talking about How marketing has changed in real estate, and how agents can stay relevant with new tools and technologies as they can help you increase your business through modern marketing. 


 I will touch on such topics as: 

  • The common misconception that both brokers and agents work in the same way. While they may seem similar, one is not better than the other—they are just different. 
  • The way you market today will never be the same in the future. Technology changes, so does your marketing.
  • Learn how to attract both buyers and sellers. 
  • People do business with people that they know, they like, and they trust. 
  • You've gotta do something different to get something different.
  • People move or go away from two different things, either pleasure or pain.
  • In order to get a seller really wanting to go through the pain of moving, you have to identify the real reason why they’re selling their house.
  • Find the motivating factor from the seller and buyer.
  • Stop thinking about leads as a paycheck. 
  • Every single lead that you get, they fit into two different buckets. Bucket number one, they ain't planning on doing nothing. They are wasting your time. Bucket number two is there's something that's happening in their future, either short future or long future that has them look into their options. 
  • When you could identify how you can help people, then the money, it just comes. 
  • You've gotta be a problem solver. Figure out what it is they're trying to accomplish and move toward having them accomplish that - and they will choose you as their agent.
