DA is Domain Authority, it's the metric invented by Moz to give an idea of the value of a website across the internet.
Nowadays, it's being used well beyond it's purpose through as brands use it to value a link from content creators over the value of the community they have created.
However, this is a situation we are stuck in for the time being. So, what are the ways to improve your DA on your website?
Well, I've spent a long time doing research into this very topic as it's something I'm asked a lot... so here is my quick cheeky byte rundown of how to improve your domain authority.

This is a question that I get asked a hell of a lot and I've given my two pence here, however, I know some people who are much smarter at Instagram than me, so I promise you that I will get them on the show to give their 5 minutes run-down.
Thanks so much to Sarah-Jayne Jones for this question, so many people are going to want to know the answer.

As I joke with our guest this week, Google Ads is not a sexy subject.
It's all numbers and statistics. It's dull, dull, dull. You have have noticed then that I've not really ever covered it for the Punkcast.
Fact is however, it's many businesses secret weapon. A well-built targeted Google Ads campaign can be powerful.
It forms much of the business of my agency!
Many are scare of Google Ads because it can be quite complicated and perhaps they have been burnt before as it's so easy to fall down a trap of spending lots of money and not bringing in any return.
I have Mark Flavin from Cliq Media on the podcast this week who works with SO many client on their Google Ads he's become quite a master on the subject.
Unsure about Google Ads? Don't be any longer. Mark is here to save the day and also he makes Google Ads sexy!

On this episode of the punkcast, I talk to the awesome Adam Hunt, who leads a troupe of comedians and writers into creating the best messages for businesses. Generate more engagement, more traffic, more leads and sales from simply being funny!

James Mulvany joins me on the podcast this time to talk about podcasting.

Podcasting as grown and waned in popularity since it's early days. Now, it's the hottest thing so I invited James Mulvany on the show to talk about it.
James in a entrepreneur through and through building numerous businesses in his time, more recently the very impressive Podcast.co podcast hosting platform and now matchmaker.fm a platform which allows podcast hosts to find podcast guests and vice versa.
I speak to James about;

I've recently been working with many bloggers over the past few weeks. All of which have the same fundamental problem. Their livelihoods are dominated and influenced by DA (Domain Authority).
Bloggers everyday will miss out on paid opportunities for work because of what I class a lack of understanding and laziness on behalf of the PR agencies and brands.
Find out more about my campaign on this episode. Or read my blog all about it.
If you are a blogger and are affected by this then please do spread the word and use #BloggersAgainstDA.
If we want to make a change to this. It will have to be from ground up, and that starts with you.
