The first in a 3-part mini-series, this episode explores 40 years worth of major technologies and events in digital publishing, from the recognized birth of digital publishing in 1971 with Project Gutenberg to Google’s attempt to digitize the world’s books that went up in flames in 2010. Like Ebenezer Scrooge in Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, whose past, present and future spirits arrive on Christmas Eve to show him a side of himself he can’t see from within, Diana too will be taking you on a journey... she will be your guide through the past, present and future of digital publishing.
