Wondering what happened to the Qwen 3.7 open source release? Maybe this new proposed pullback from the Chinese government has already been impacting model releases. What will be the impact if this happens to local and enterprise AI hardware is covered in depth in this episode. Have you considered who wins if this happens?

The rapidly evolving landscape of the frontier is going to shape the future of access, including local ai, and it is happening now. This is regulatory capture 101 and it will define the future for you, it's time you start getting involved and I give you some good first steps.

Local Ai has gotten more and more challenging to run over the past year so lets talk about this trend, what is going on with GPUs and RAM and the impacts it has on what is likely the next LLM releases. I talk about the impact of Open models and closed models and how the talk of AGI may soon backfire.

Open Source AGI is what we want, but is it what we will get? OpenAI and Gemini cloud services would like a word with your credit card please. Will AGI be Open Source is the question and how could we get there.
