Dillan Jones moved to Newman from Mt Isa in 2007 when he was in Year 9. His first impressions of the town were of its smallness – with no roundabouts or traffic lights! He did an apprenticeship at the Mine and played footy for the Saints which he sees as a second home. He has been a member of their last seven Premiership sides. He is now a FIFO, working on Whaleback and enjoying the best of both worlds.
