Mercer was kind enough to give me a crash course on the world of Bizarrism and a little glimpse into his live show. From swallowing coat hangers and creating personal souvenirs inside his body, Mercer has been heavily invested in curating memorable experiences for people through his unique performances.

Potentially gippy inducing stage tricks aside, we also dive into the educational side of his TikTok output. From space toilets to hostile architecture and beyond.

Alright gang, this week we’re letting it all out of our system.

In the first (of hopefully more) experience episodes in Season 4, I smashed the bejesus out of some Christmas crockery.

Rage Rooms or Smash Rooms as they’re also known, seem to have grown in popularity since and during the pandemic. Admittedly they do seem to be quite the cathartic release. To see if this is the case or if they’re simply just a gimmicky day out, I visited a local Rage Room and let rip upon a crate of glass bottles and other smash-able items.
