DinDeng

Marcus is back to reconsider ecofascism—the real ecofascism of the Third Reich and Lebensreform, as well as some of the trendier TikTok ecofascism we're seeing nowadays. Also a deep dive on prepping, prepping soil that is.

We messed up another recording yesterday so this morning we just hung out. I think we mostly talked Thai hotep'ism. It's something.

So, we recored an episode on the Thai deep state a few days ago, but we both had headaches and it's really not very fun to listen to. So we scraped together this episode last minute, hence the rather dramatic departure from our normal subject matter. But you know what? It's fun. You'll have fun. Really. Like, we do funny voices and its not racist. It's fun. It's also depressing because everyone dies, as is often the case with our stories these days it seems.

Two stories each, two peasant rebellions at the turn of the century. Chiang Mai, Sandakan, Phrae, Kelantan. Pitch forks and pikes, holy flames and fires. Utopia was at hand, until it wasn't.

Samai is getting clean and, as such, takes the reigns as we once again revisit Plerng Phue Chiwit, Music for Life, Art for Life and Socialist Realism for the upteenth time. It's a good one though, really. This is kind of a part 2 for episode 46 Trap and Thalugaz.
