As the end of the year approaches and the period of nine figures passes, I think I spend a lot of time thinking about things like the meaning and purpose of life these days.

내가 좀 더 날씬했다면... 키가 좀 컸다면... 어깨가 좀 넓었다면... 좋겠다... 이런 생각 한번쯤 해보신 적 있으신가요?

사회가 만든 바디이미지 때문에 스스로 너무 스트레스 받지 말고 살아갔으면 하는 바람이에요.

어느새 수능이 코앞으로 다가왔네요.

10년 전 저희 수능날은 날이 정말 따뜻해서 소풍 간 거 같았던 기억이 나요.

학벌에 따라 인생의 먼 미래까지 결정되는 과잉 예견 현상은 단순히 개인의 능력이나 노력만으로 설명되지 않는다. 인생의 특정한 시점에 이루어진 특정한 방식의 시험이 사람들의 수십년의 미래까지 예측 가능하게 하는 놀랍도록 정확한 자료라는 건 믿기는 쉽지 않다. (p64-65)

교육이란 본래 모든 사람에게 성장의 기회를 주는 것이어야 하는데, 그 본질적인 기능이 왜곡되어 누군가에게는 우월감을, 누군가에게는 열등감을 심어주는 체제가 되었다. 대학서열이 공정한 경쟁의 결과라고 믿으며 이 모순을 애써 외면하기에는 "딱지"와 "얼룩"이 너무 크다. (p.78)

우리가 미드를 사랑하는 이유는 뭘까요. 
개인적으로 미드는 힘든 시간에도 항상 옆에 있어주는 친구 또는 가족 같은 존재라고 느껴져요. 

에피소드를 녹음하고 매튜페리의 안타까운 소식을 듣게 되었는데요. 편집하면서 챈들러 빙이 더 그리워졌어요.

Why do we love American dramas that much? 
Personally, I feel like they are like a friend or family member who is always by my side even during hard times. 

After recording this episode, I heard the sad news about Matthew Perry. While editing, I was getting to miss him more.
