Dinner and a Bible, aka the funny things my kids say in front of Jesus.

Tough connection between the three scriptures. Let’s see if the audience is able to connect it.

A long dinner but a good one. Leadership is rare, great leadership is almost extinct. The devil really knows how to throw a wrench in the works. Don’t let hardships stop you from learning leadership. Either as an observer or the forced leader based on what’s right and compliant.

Kids lessons and it’s tough being a kid. We sometimes forget. Like how scary driving is your first time. After 45 years behind the wheel, I can barely remember the first week I drove and how scared I was.

We discuss worldly success and how God has instructions on what that means as a Christian.

We need encouragement from within our home. There is enough discouraging words outside of our house.

We need to avoid Murphy and his diabolical ways. Take care of the “night happens” or it will become “will happen.”

Inc magazine described good leaders as active listeners. Are you more than a good listener? Are you an active listener?

Let stop thinking as if the Bible is black and white. Parables are not black and white, they are stories of Gods heart. Gods heart is complex and above all things pure. Not murderous or brutal. He cry’s that we can follow him and not the wide road to hell. So read with that in mind. Without malice. Then we will be fine.

Inc magazine has good ideas on problem solving. Interesting that I see the same ideas in the Bible when it extols wisdom.

Dwelling in the past is sad. It’s a miserable way to live. Don’t be salty. Don’t be a basement dweller.
