  • EP58 - Donna Martin Graduates
Show me that smile again. Don't waste another minute on your cryin'. We're nowhere near the end. The best is ready to begin. As long as we got each other. We got the world spinnin right in our hands. Baby, rain or shine, all the time. We got each other, sharin' the laughter and love.

  • EP57 - 3 Dudes Scrap Metal
Pomp has a falling out with a longtime listener, leading him to do some serious soul searching. Post-soul search, we regret to report that no soul was found. We appreciate you.

  • EP56 - The Tomfoolerers
A Skutch is someone who intentially behaves in an irritating or annoying manner. It comes from the Italian word 'Scocciare', which means 'to bother or annoy'. See, we teach you guys stuff from time to time. Remember, spring smells like purple. We appreciate you.

  • EP54 - Mt. William
We could have named this episode 'New Year's 2020', or 'Christmas 2019 Recap', but we didn't. Nope. We named it Mt. William, which is the longform of 'Hillbilly'. Relevant? No. Funny? Moderately. But alas, it's the name of this episode. See you punks in the Raging 20's. We appreciate you.

  • EP53 - Xavier Topfloor
Xavier Topfloor says "Good Job 100%", and that's the only validation we need. Thank you, internet bot, for making Dinner for Dessert a great place to live, work and visit. We appreciate you.

  • EP52 - Jonestown Manhattan
Sometime between Jesus's death and the theatrical release of Back to the Future, some bad stuff happened. But some good stuff happened too. And also some so so stuff happened. The point is, there should be a show called Bathroom Nightmares, where a celebrity plumber goes around teaching crappy plumbers how to plumb better. Obviously, the host of the show will be Academy Award winner Christopher Plummer. We appreciate you.

  • EP50 - Giving Thanks
Thomas De Mahy was an aristocrat who was sentenced to be hanged during the French Revolution. When he read his death warrant, he remarked, "I see that you have made three spelling mistakes."
De Mahy's response to his death sentence pretty much sums up how our dear friend Jon Schulman approached his terminal cancer diagnosis. Brave as hell, but still a wiseass who doesn't take anything too seriously.
We dedicate this episode to Jon, who we lost on 11/16 after a long, tough battle. He was one of the great ones, and we miss him every day. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, instead of being angry for the 40+ years with Jon that cancer robbed from us, we choose to be thankful for the 20+ years that we did get.
    Love ya Schulmsky!
