Isaac and Reid talk about the Sidetalk video, the Knicks chances for the season, and the history of the team and its fans. Welcome to the first episode of season one of Dinner With Pop! On this big relaunch episode, Isaac and Reid... pretty much do the usual. Ben Simmons wants out of the 76ers, so the boys talk other players who wanted out of their contracts, along with deciding who the starting 5 of the Arrakis basketball team would be, demanding $10, and accidentally wading into whatever Kyrie's been up to. It's a good time!

This episode plays fast and loose with the idea that this is a "basketball podcast." Isaac and Reid talk about Venom, Michelin restaurants, and some light basketball news. 

Isaac and Reid talk about the little NBA news that there was in the past two weeks, including Trae Young's WWE debut, Russell Westbrook's killer style, the Clippers' new arena, and some minor free agency moves. But honestly, they spent most of their time talking about dog training, cocktails, and planning Isaac's funeral.

GOLD RUSH COCKTAIL RECIPE

2 oz Bourbon

.75 oz lemon juice

.75 oz honey syrup*

Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into a into glass with fresh ice (one big fancy cube if you have it). Garnish with a lemon twist (be careful!) and an optional dash of bitters.

* To make honey syrup, combine equal parts honey and water in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until honey is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool before using.

Labor Day has come and gone but it's still summer for Isaac and Reid. There's a lot to cover during this summer break, including Drake and Kanye's dueling Giannis references, Netflix's Malice at the Palace documentary, and free agency. Plus, the boys dial up Katherine Leon for her Ben Simmons/76ers expertise. 

On this tasting menu episode, Isaac and Reid discuss all the topics they missed while taking a little summer vacation from podcasting last week. Vindicated by Pop's gold medal win, the boys talk about the latest trades and free agency signings, summer league, and NBC's Olympics coverage. 

Isaac and Reid are joined by their friend, comedian and podcaster Caitlin Durante to discuss Space Jam: A New Legacy. The boys and Caitlin break down what happens in the movie, try their best to make sense of the WB Serververse, and pitch some Space Jam sequels that Warner Bros is welcome to pay them for. 

The boys dive into a couple surprises from this year's draft, and Reid quizzes Isaac on NBA drafts of yore. They also talk about the blockbuster Russ-to-the-Lakers trade, wine, and how they'd like to serve their country. 

Isaac and Reid cover a variety of topics: the Bucks' Championship, the Olympics, and the upcoming draft. There's a lot to cover, so there's no weekly special. It's a tasting menu, baby. Buen provecho!

On this post-All-Star-Game episode, Isaac and Reid discuss NBA duos in light of Giannis and Jokic's chemistry on and off the court.
