In 2 Samuel 9, King David shows extravagant kindness to Mephibosheth, someone who had every reason to expect rejection, not welcome. An enemy’s descendant. A man in a low place. Yet David pulls him to the table and treats him like family. Pastor Josh reminded us that this is what God is like: A kind King who moves toward people, not away from them. A King who rewrites stories. A King who says, you matter more than you think. No matter what your past has told you, a new story is possible through King Jesus. And it starts with this truth: you must be important.
